1st May 2017
Explore and indulge at this eight-day celebration of eating and drinking. Enjoy the freshest fare from local producers, learn from star chefs and savour the food and wine South Australia is famous for.
Yesterday marked the start of Tasting Australia, one of Australia’s most anticipated culinary festivals. The now annual event is most recognised for its journey of South Australia’s produce from paddock to plate and the celebration of real food heroes.
The festival showcases what South Australia’s food-scene is all about… local and seasonal produce and a diverse culture are what first come to mind. Held across Adelaide and South Australia’s surrounding regions, Tasting Australia will open your eyes to unforgettable dining experiences whether that be at the Adelaide Central Markets or in the vineyards of the Adelaide Hills where world-renowned wines begin their journey.
A smorgasbord of events is on offer until the 7th May, varying from Italian culinary masterclasses to a wine degustation or even a dining experience with British celebrity chef and restaurateur, Marco Pierre White. For any food-lover, Tasting Australia is one calendar event not to be missed.
