Early mornings on the Riesling Trail
Head out in the morning and join the locals on the Riesling Trail, cruising along on a bike is like being a kid again. Bike hire can be arranged with local providers in the region including delivery and pick up from the Clare Country Club. If the weather is warm you may just want to take a shorter ride to Sevenhill or general store in Watervale.

Tastings at local wineries
A visit to the Clare Valley wine region is incomplete without going to tastings at our world-class wineries! Head to boutique wineries for a relaxed tasting session, where you will most likely be greeted by the winemaker and/or grape grower. We recommend stopping by the region’s oldest vineyard, Sevenhill or for wine with stunning scenery, Paulett Wines.

Long lunches
Head inside in the air-conditioning and enjoy long lunches at wineries, where the wine, food and beautiful surrounds perfectly complement each other. Our favourite spots for lazy summer lunches include Pikes Winery, Skillogalee, Reillys and Paulettes.
