30th November 2016
The Lyndoch Lavender Farm is the largest of its kind in the state, showcasing more than 90 varieties of lavender plants over 5 acres. Wander through the colourful landscape of the lavender rows while admiring the local bird life and animals the area is home to. Sit back and relax at the onsite cafe, The Lavender Kitchen, with a tea or coffee while enjoying a light snack of cheese plates, bruschetta, croissants, scones and biscuits.
The store also produces a wide range of lavender-based products such as soap, moisturiser and oils for purchase.
For an admission fee of only $2.00 (children under 14 free) during the flowering season, you can enjoy a free tea or coffee and tastings (of some of the condiments from the Lavender Kitchen) as well as a chance to experience some of the best views in the Barossa.
