Known as the Festival State, South Australian’s have made festival-living part of their identity. Just because Mad March is long over doesn’t mean you can’t continue to experience the magic of the arts, here is our guide to up and coming festivals in South Australia.
Adelaide Film Festival is an eleven-day celebration running from Wednesday 10th October to Sunday 21st October. It is an exploration of Australian and international screen culture with a unique program of screenings, forums and special events. Established in 2003, it has since been placed in Variety’s list of “50 Unmissable Film Festivals” and recognised as a showcase of new work in the Australian film industry. The festival is based at GU Film House, the newest cinema concept to the west end of Adelaide.
The Adelaide Fashion Festival presented by Mercedes-Benz Adelaide and Unley is South Australia’s premier fashion festival running from Wednesday 17th October to Sunday 21st October. The festival is for lovers of fashion and design, buyers, designers, media, stylists, retailers and the curious at heart. Never have fashion runways been so accessible to the public- make sure to buy a ticket today!

OzAsia Festival is Australia’s leading international arts festival engaging with Asia. Held from Thursday 25th October through to Sunday 11th November, this year will see the largest program ever- featuring a record of 60 unique events.
