Okay Read MoreA Christmas in Berri: Local Events and Festivities
11th December 2020
As we make our way through December and the days until Christmas Day disappear, some festivities are very much in order. Embrace a much needed community spirit after a difficult year this Christmas, and opt in to a handful of festive activities in the Riverland region. Residents and visitors alike are welcome this Christmas.
A festive ending to a difficult year
At SA Weekend Escapes, we believe that 2020 is the perfect time to embrace community festivities and take part in local events. Throughout this tricky year, South Australians have learned to support all things local and respect the fragility of small businesses and communities.
As Christmas draws close, and people start looking for holidays, things to do, events to attend, experiences to engage in and things to buy, there’s no better time to focus on all things local.
In the Berri Barmera area, locals and summer tourists will discover another year of festive entertainment for people of all ages. An agenda throughout December and January packed with crafts, markets, events, games, and more, is available to not only residents, but anyone who’d like to take part.
Berri Barmera Council states:
“For local residents we encourage you to be a tourist in your own area and enjoy the fantastic events and locations on your doorstep… If you are a visitor we wish to extend a huge welcome to you and hope your stay in the Berri Barmera region is memorable. There is so much to explore and do in the beautiful Riverland, we thank you for choosing us to share your holidays with.”
