When in Renmark one should not pass up the opportunity to visit the Woolshed Brewery. Located on the banks of the River Murray in Wilkadene (approx. 20kms from Renmark) the brewery can be accessed via car or boat.
Seeped in history, this microbrewery was once a famous sheep and wheat station and remnants of the past still remain in the historic shearing shed. But today, the atmosphere is warm, relaxed and friendly and provides for the perfect outing to experience the unique tastes of the Riverland.
There are six different styles of the Woolshed Brewery beer on offer which include: Summer Ale, Amazon Ale, Cherax Destructor, Aaamber Ale, Judas the Dark and a Firehouse Stout.
If you’re not a beer lover – never fear they also produce a mighty fine Hard Lemonade and a Utopia Apple and Pear Cider. Wine and non-alcoholic beverages are available too.
Sample tastings as well as tasting paddles are the perfect way to explore your way through their craft brews. Schooners and take away sales are also available for purchase.
If you want to fully engage in the experience try a guided brewery tour for only $10 p/head (tour bookings essential).

The Woolshed Brewery is family friendly and suited to all ages. Perfect for you to take your own picnic lunch, or purchase their locally sourced produce and make up your own platter. Occasionally local caterers are onsite providing mouth-watering selections to tempt the palate.
Sit on the deck underneath the shady gum trees and take in the beauty of the Murray River, or relax and sprawl out on their spacious lawn area.
On some weekends the Woolshed Brewery also put on a selection of live music acts to sooth the soul and set the scene.
