Although the Barossa is known for its amazing wine culture, it is paired well with a rich passion for gourmet food. The region is well known for its smoked meats, cheeses, olive oil, pickles and preserves. All of these products can be found in the local stores and at the local markets.
The Barossa Farmers Market is held every Saturday in the Vintners Sheds near Angaston between 7:30am and 11:30am. Here you can stock up on all of your favourite local products such as fresh fruit and vegetables, meat, fish, cheese, dairy, bread, baked goods, pasta, muesli, jam, sauce, oil, coffee, tea, flowers and plants. The Barossa is a food lover’s delight!
