Explore Sturt Reserve 

Sturt Reserve is a beautiful natural environment on the banks of the Murray River. Of particular note, the Mulyawonk Bunyip here is a great spot to learn about the local Ngarrindjeri people. Originally, the Bunyip here represents a story of a man who caught more fish than he needed to. Displeased with the man’s decision, the Elders turned the man into a half fish, half man, banishing him to the river forever. The story today teaches younger generations water safety and a respect for fish from the rivers and lakes of SA!
