Spend the day at the beach
Albany Western Australia is home to a stunning coastline and with beautiful beaches to match. Think crystal blue water and white sand, it’s not a summer in Albany without spending a day at the beach. We highly recommend visiting Little Beach and Two People’s Bay to enjoy turquoise blue and reclusive length of the beach to walk.

Sample oysters near Emu Point
The calm, shallow waters of Emu Point are ideal for children and popular for fishing. Nearby Oyster Harbour is used for oyster and mussel farming and is home to the Albany Rock Oyster, which you can purchase direct from the farms.

Step back in time
Albany has a vast and interesting history that you can spend days of your summer holiday delving into. Something fun to do is walk the gangplank and step back in time aboard the Brig Amity, a replica of the vessel that carried settlers and convicts in 1826. See what life was like aboard a convict ship and learn how the expedition forged peaceful relations with the local Aboriginal Minang Noongar people.

Explore Torndirrup National Park
Iconic to the town, in Torndirrup National Park you will find some of Albany’s most famous attractions. Natural Bridge is a rock formation sculptured into a bridge, shaped by the powerful swells of the Southern Ocean. Nearby is The Gap, the most famous attraction in Albany, a 24 mere drop where the ocean rushes into a large cavern in the rocks.
