Okay Read MoreBirds of Prey at Raptor Domain
30th June 2016
For a fun activity for the whole family on Kangaroo Island, make a trip to Raptor Domain in Kingscote and attend one of their shows featuring a diverse range of bird species, some rare or leading to extinction. Their “Birds of Prey” display is an interactive presentation where visitors get the opportunity to put on a glove and have one of their amazing birds such as the Wedge-tailed Eagle, Barn Owl or laughing Kookaburra fly to your arm.
Raptor Domain is an environmental, educational and rehabilitation centre with a purpose to create awareness and appreciation for their diverse range of rare or endangered bird species. The interactive presentation provides visitors the opportunity to see the birds first-hand, not view them in a cage, along with gaining an understanding of how these birds live in their natural environment.
No trip to Kangaroo Island is complete without a trip to Raptor Domain. For more information on their bird shows or packages visit: www.kangarooislandbirdsofprey.com.au
