AUS Weekend Escapes – Terms & Conditions for Discount Holiday Packages

Effective September 1, 2024

1. Booking & Cancellation Policy
Bookings for Discount Holiday Packages can be made and canceled without penalty outside of 30 days before your scheduled arrival date. Cancellations or changes within 30 days of arrival will forfeit the full package price, including no-shows.

2. General Terms
All bookings made through AUS Weekend Escapes for Discount Holiday Packages are subject to the following terms and conditions. By purchasing a package or voucher, you agree to these terms.

3. Voucher Validity
Vouchers purchased for Discount Holiday Packages are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. They are non-refundable and can only be changed once, subject to availability. Vouchers are transferable and can be used as gift vouchers. When gifting a voucher, you can enter the recipient’s name when making the booking. Vouchers are not classified as gift vouchers under Australian consumer law.

4. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers can be purchased as part of the Discount Holiday Packages and transferred to someone else for their use. You can specify the recipient’s name at the time of booking, and the voucher will function the same as any standard voucher in terms of booking, terms, and conditions.

5. Package Inclusions
Discount Holiday Packages may include accommodation, late checkout (subject to availability), and a $50 voucher towards your next two-night stay. Inclusions vary per package and per hotel. Each hotel may offer limited allocations of discounted packages per night, and your desired dates may not be available, especially during special events or peak periods.

6. Pricing and Payment
Packages are priced from $195.00 unless stated otherwise. Any additional nights or upgrades will be subject to the hotel’s specific rates.
Please note that a 1.3% surcharge applies for any payments made by VISA, Mastercard, American Express, or Diners Card.
Payment is due on the day of arrival. Bookings made with vouchers are subject to the same payment policy. Vouchers are non-refundable, and if canceled within 30 days of the arrival date, the full package price will be forfeited.

7. Original Voucher Value
Voucher values provided for Discount Holiday Packages are used as a guide only. These amounts reflect an indicative market rate for the hotels at the time of annualization and are based on heavily discounted package rates. You are encouraged to compare your desired travel dates to ensure that the voucher represents good value for your stay.

8. Booking Process
To book using your voucher, enter your voucher code into the promo code section when booking through the AUS Weekend Escapes platform. All bookings are subject to the hotel’s availability at the time of booking.

9. Availability and Restrictions
Stays are subject to availability and are not valid over special events or peak periods, unless otherwise stated by the hotel. Hotels may offer limited availability for Discount Holiday Packages, and we cannot guarantee your desired dates will be available. Please note all hotel booking requests for stays within 14 days to arrival, you will need to contact the hotel directly.

10. $50 Voucher Conditions

A $50 voucher towards your next two-night stay with AUS Weekend Escapes will be provided at the time of departure from your stay. The voucher is subject to availability and is not valid over special events or peak periods. The voucher applies only to specific room types and cannot be sold or transferred. Each guest may only use or redeem one $50 voucher per hotel per month, and vouchers cannot be used on consecutive stays.

11. Additional Terms
Rates include GST.
Vouchers cannot be sold or exchanged for cash and are non-transferable except when used as a gift.
Hotels may require specific terms and conditions based on their own policies, and it is important to review these at the time of booking.
