South Australia’s Riverland is a must see destination. And when in the Riverland we highly recommend a visit to 23rd Street Distillery for a tour, tasting, lunch or sneaky/not so sneaky cocktail.
This historic distillery, built in 1914 and previously known as the Renmano Winery, has since been resurrected with twenty-first century technology and passion; making it now one of the hippest destinations in Renmark.
The team at 23rd Street Distillery have captured the essence of the Riverland, literally. They have sourced local produce to create their award winning range of prime spirits which include their Signature Gin, Not Your Nanna’s Brandy, Riverland Rose Vodka, Prime 5 Brandy and Hybrid Whiskey.
The modern and spacious visitor centre provides a welcoming atmosphere and the ideal venue for a relaxing afternoon. Offering pizza and platter dining options and a drinks menu that your tastebuds will certainly thank you for!
To be immersed in the full experience a tour and tasting is highly advised. Guided by extremely knowledgeable and passionate staff, your mind and senses will open to uncover new dimensions as you explore the history, see how the old meets the new, and understand for yourself the inner workings of this operational distillery.
Keep an eye out for their occasional music festivals and events too. And, kids are welcome!
